Mrs. Russomanno

Room 103

This week in our road study, we will discuss how we can stay safe on the road.  We will celebrate our road study by building a road in the courtyard using bricks and pavers.  In small groups, we will be matching uppercase and lowercase letters, making fences that are different shapes, reading road signs and solving the mystery of the secret numbers.

At home, you can go on letter and number hunts around the house, store or even when you are in the car.  Ask your child if they recognize signs and if they can read them.  Books that the class liked this week were:  If I Built a Car by Chris Van Dusen and David’s Drawings by Cathryn Falwell.
